ROUNDUP: Hubbertsville ousts Collinsville 35-14

HUBBERTVILLE | T.J. Pratt rushed for 120 yards and two touchdowns as the Hubbertville Lions ousted the Collinsville Panthers 35-14 Friday night in the opening round of the Class 1A playoffs.
Landon Miller followed Pratt with 82 yards rushing and one touchdown.
The Lions led 14-7 at halftime after Pratt scored on a 9-yard run in the first quarter and Vess Benton threw a 52-yard touchdown pass to Dax Benton in the second quarter.
In the third quarter, Miller scored on a 13-yard run to push the Hubbertville lead to 21-7.
The Lions added two more touchdowns in the fourth quarter as Dax Benton scored on a 12-yard run and Pratt had a 6-yard run.
Tommy Jackson threw two touchdown passes for Collinsville.
Hubbertville (9-2) travels to Falkville next Friday night.
Lamar County 32,
VERNON | Dallas Cockerham rushed for one touchdown and passed for another as the Lamar County Bulldogs eliminated Samson in the opening round of the playoffs.
Cockerham rushed for a team-high 135 yards on 29 carries as the Bulldogs raced to a 30-7 halftime lead.
Tim Harton scored on an 11-yard run to start the first-half scoring spree for Lamar County. Cullen Carter followed with a 30-yard run, before Cockerham scored on an 8-yard run and threw a 55-yard touchdown pass to Dusty Cann.
Dusty Vann led the Lamar County defense with five tackles, three assists and two interceptions.
Samson ended its season with a 6-5 record.
Lamar County (10-1) travels to Mobile Christian next Friday.
Linden 53, Keith 0
LINDEN | Terrance Sanders rushed for 143 yards and three touchdowns as the Linden Patriots shut out the Keith Bears.
The Patriots stormed to a 32-0 halftime lead with two touchdowns from Sanders, two touchdowns from Prentiss McCuiston and a 65-yard punt return by Dequan Charleston.
Sanders scored on first-half runs of 9 and 18 yards, while McCuiston scored on runs of 1 and 4 yards.
In the third quarter, Sanders reeled off a 64-yard touchdown run and Christopher Robinson threw a 20-yard scoring pass to Kyenard Craig.
Robinson scored the final Linden touchdown on a 1-yard run in the fourth quarter.
Linden (8-3) hosts McKenzie Thursday night in the second round.
