Tuscaloosa Christian wins ACEAA state title


OXFORD | Tuscaloosa Christian owned the title game, defeating Tabernacle Christian 70-39 to win the boys basketball Alabama Christian Education Athletic Association state championship on Saturday.

Trent Gibson, who scored 17 points For Tuscaloosa Christian (17-4) in the championship game and 17 points in Friday’s semifinal, was voted tournament MVP.

Tyler Foust also scored 17 points in the championship game.
