SELMA | In Saturday night’s championship game of the AISA Class AAA, Region 2 tournament, Kingwood Christian edged Tuscaloosa Academy 63-62. Pride Snow scored 17 and Terrell Bush 14 for the Knights (20-8), who will play in the AISA Elite 8 in Montgomery on Friday at 1:30 p.m. against Evangel Christian.

Titus Adams led Kingwood Christian with 17.

Hale County 50

GREENSBORO | Donald King scored 24, Keimondre Turner 18 and Kavoris Owens 17 in leading Greensboro (23-2, 6-0) Saturday.

The scoring leaders for Hale County with nine points each were Rod Arnold and Xavier Crispin.

Greensboro hosts the AHSAA Class 3A, Area 6 tournament and plays Gordo in the first round. Sipsey Valley and Greene County will play one another there as well.
