BOYS ROUNDUP: No. 1 Raiders roll by Gordo

GREENSBORO | Donald King and Keimondre Turner each scored 17 points to lead the Greensboro High School Raiders to an 88-16 romp over Gordo in boys high school basketball action Thursday night.
Greensboro (5-1) is ranked No. 1 in the latest Alabama Sports Writers Association’s prep poll.
Kavoris Owens scored 16 for the home victors, and Jamarcus Gray added 12.
Gordo was led by Mike White with eight points. Greensboro next plays host to Greene County Friday at 7:30 p.m.
Berry 49, Hubbertville 32
BERRY | Weston Bonner scored a game-high 20 for Berry, and Blake Abernathy added 14 points and 17 rebounds for the Wildcats. Point guard Neil Sullivan handed out seven assists with four steals and scored four points. Hubbertville was led by McKain Hubbert with 11.
Berry (3-4) plays tonight at Marion County at 5:30 p.m. in the MAC Tournament.
Pickens Acad. 53, Bessemer Acad. 39
BESSEMER | Pickens Academy was led by Josh Lewis with a game-high 21 points, while Sam Beachler added six points and nine rebounds. Bessemer Academy was led by Jeremy Winston with 15.
Pickens Academy (2-6) plays tonight in the Monroe Academy tournament against Lowndes Academy at 8 p.m.
R.C. Hatch 60, Aliceville 41
ALICEVILLE | Bakatri Jackson scored a game-high 28 for R.C. Hatch. Aliceville was led by Marques Mason with 14.
Aliceville (3-4) plays tonight at Sipsey Valley at 6 p.m.
