Green leads Tuscaloosa County past Moody


CHELSEA | The Tuscaloosa County High School boys basketball team was a 59-40 winner against Moody on Wednesday in its third and final game at the North Shelby Thanksgiving Tip-off Tournament.

The Wildcats opened their 2012 season at the tournament, which featured a field of 16 teams. Tuscaloosa County went 2-1 at the tournament and will return to action on Thursday, Nov. 29, for its 7:30 p.m. home opener against Walker.

Justice Green led Wednesday’s win against Moody with 17 points. Justin Guy scored 13, Christopher Johnson 10 and Chris Gilliam nine.

Josh Daniel led Moody with 16 points.
