Linden (10-1) at St. Jude (7-4)
Breakdown: Linden rushed for 385 yards in a 39-7 win over Kinston. Marquis Shelton rushed for 221 yards and scored on runs of 98, 2 and 71 yards. Anthony Robinson rushed for 92 yards, scoring on a 76-yard run. Robinson threw a touchdown pass to Jalen Lewis, and Jamon Evans scored on a 69-yard fumble return. Chris Rogers had 12 tackles for the Linden defense, which allowed 157 yards. St. Jude beat Keith 20-6.
Carroll’s prediction: Linden 36, St. Jude 16
Spring Garden (9-2)
at Hubbertville (8-3)
Breakdown: Aaron Dillard, who has 2,009 yards for the season, carried 40 times for 269 yards and six touchdowns in Hubbertville’s 42-35 victory over No. 2-ranked Ragland. He scored his last touchdown with 43 seconds left. Dillard had 12 tackles, two for lost yardage. David Aldridge stopped Ragland’s last possession with an intercetpion. Spring Garden beat Shoals Christian 39-36 in overtime.
Carroll’s prediction: Hubbertville 30, Spring Garden 26
Pickens County (9-2)
at Cedar Bluff (10-0)
Breakdown: Pickens County rushed for 419 yards on 48 attempts in a 63-0 win over Falkville. Jermarcus Brown gained 186 yards on 15 carries and scored on a 69-yard run and on a 15-yard pass from Devonte Simon, who threw four touchdown passes. Darius Jones caught two touchdown passes, and Rhaheem Curry caught one. Gunner Lemons had two touchdown runs. Darrien Latham had a touchdown run. Cedar Bluff beat Phillips 54-20.
Carroll’s prediction: Pickens County 27, Cedar Bluff 13
at Berry (7-4)
Breakdown: Terrance "Tank" Hollingsworth scored on a 70-yard interception return and a 77-yard run and caught a 3-yard scoring pass from Maken Potter in Berry’s 28-8 win at Addison. Hollingsworth rushed for 169 yards on 22 carries and made eight tackles. Potter threw for 124 yards and scored on a 2-yard run. Weston Bonner had three of Berry’s eight sacks. Clancy Brown, who had 18 tackles, and Zac Pasley had two sacks each. Hackleburg beat Donoho 66-42.
Carroll’s prediction: Berry 35, Hackleburg 28
Sweet Water (9-2)
at Aliceville (7-4)
Breakdown: Jeremy McMullen carried 40 times for 327 rushing yards and five touchdowns in Aliceville’s 42-25 victory over Elba. McMullen scored on runs of 15, 27, 1, 12 and 25 yards. Oscar Sommerville had a touchdown run. The Yellow Jackets gained 420 rushing yards and 506 yards of total offense. Marqueze Marshall had 15 tackles. Anfernee Mullins had two sacks among his six tackles. Sweet Water beat Samson 62-14.
Carroll’s prediction: Sweet Water 28, Aliceville 20
Lamar County (9-2)
at G.W. Long (10-1)
Breakdown: Dallas Cockerham ran for 74 yards and two touchdowns in Lamar County’s 39-24 win over West Blocton. Cockerham completed 10 of 15 passes for 159 yards, including a 55-yard touchdown pass to Jeremy Denton. Alex Wheeler rushed for 141 yards on 16 carries and scored on a 53-yard run. Landon Williams and Kendall Smith each had a touchdown run. Bryce Myles and Williams had eight tackles each for the Lamar County defense, and Cockerham intercepted a pass. G.W. Long beat Southern Choctaw 27-0.
Carroll’s prediction: Lamar County 24, G.W. Long 20
W.S. Neal (9-2)
at Fayette County (9-2)
Breakdown: Quarterback Marcellus Redmond ran for three touchdowns and threw a scoring pass, and Fayette County ran for 249 yards in a 35-16 win over B.B. Comer. Kyle Nalls ran for 101 yards on five carries and scored on a 47-yard run. W.S. Neal beat Slocomb 66-24.
Carroll’s prediction: Fayette County 33, W.S. Neal 27
at Spanish Fort (10-1)
Breakdown: Demopolis scored 28 points in the second quarter in a 49-20 win over Sylacauga. Roderick Davis, who gained 89 yards on 14 carries, scored on an 8-yard run, and Tyrelle Barnett scored on a 45-yard fumble return. Quarterback Tucker Jones had a 1-yard run for a touchdown. Barnett returned an interception 26 yards for a touchdown. In the second half, Demetrius Kemp caught a touchdown pass from Jones, who scored on a 1-yard run. D.J. Howell had a 40-yard touchdown run. Spanish Fort beat Carroll 51-7.

Tuscaloosa County (9-2)
at Clay-Chalkville (10-1)
Breakdown: After trailing 14-0, Tuscaloosa County rallied for a 38-28 win over Gardendale. Tyler Gates threw for 262 yards and three touchdowns. Tylan Perry had two touchdown receptions, and Allen Cooks had one. Perry caught seven passes for 88 yards and gained 77 yards rushing on 14 carries. Ted Colburn and Derrick Burns each had a touchdown run. Emiliano Ramirez kicked a 20-yard field goal. Clay-Chalkville beat Decatur 45-14.
Carroll’s prediction: Tuscaloosa County 24, Clay-Chalkville 17
At Troy University
Tuscaloosa Academy (12-0)
vs. Lee-Scott Academy (11-1)
Breakdown: Jaevon Walton rushed for 173 yards on 11 carries and scored three touchdowns as Tuscaloosa Academy beat Fort Dale Academy 34-0 to advance to an AISA final for the first time since 1991. Walton had touchdown runs of 3, 3 and 55 yards. Clay Thomas rushed for 106 yards on six carries and scored on a 68-yard run. Jonathan Teesdale gained 78 yards on two carries and scored on a 50-yard run. Lee-Scott Academy beat Monroe Academy 24-21. Lee-Scott Academy started the season with a 34-0 loss to Tuscaloosa Academy.

Restoration Academy (12-1)
vs. Pickens Academy (10-2)
When: 3:30 p.m.
Breakdown: Josh Lewis ran for three touchdowns as Pickens Academy beat Ashford Academy 46-33 to advance to the AISA Class A championship game. Lewis scored on runs of 22, 2 and 6 yards. Garrett Estes had touchdown runs of 20 and 24 yards. Joel Pratt had touchdown runs of 2 and 6 yards. Pickens Academy lost to Clarke Prep in the 2004 Class AA championship game. Pickens Academy claimed its last AISA title in Class AA in 1999. Restoration Academy beat Marengo Academy 32-13.
