SOCCER ROUNDUP: Northridge boys, girls notch shutouts

TUSCALOOSA | Lee Almond, Joanna Zambrano, Melanie Brown and Annika Struthwulf each scored two goals as the Northridge girls soccer team beat Bessemer City 10-0 Tuesday. Lainey Hatfield and A.C. Scogin each scored one goal. The goalkeeper in the shutout was Manon Kilgore.

Northridge (4-1) hosts Thompson at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.

TUSCALOOSA | Cooper Herrington scored four goals to lead Northridge.

Jamison Herrington, Andrew Hubbard, Callan Burns, Leo Galindo, Austin Davis and Paaras Agrawal each added one goal. Morgan Wilson was the goalkeeper in the shutout.

Northridge (6-0) hosts Thompson at 7 p.m. on Thursday.
